1. Business-to-Consumer (B2C): This is the most common type of e-commerce, where businesses sell products or services directly to consumers through online platforms. Examples include online retailers like Amazon and Alibaba.
2. Business-to-Business (B2B): In this type of e-commerce, businesses sell products or services to other businesses. It involves transactions between manufacturers, wholesalers, and retailers, among others. Examples include Alibaba’s B2B platform and Cisco’s online procurement system.
3. Consumer-to-Consumer (C2C): In C2C e-commerce, individuals sell products or services to other individuals through online platforms. Examples include online marketplaces like eBay and Craigslist.
4. Consumer-to-Business (C2B): In C2B e-commerce, individuals sell their products or services to companies or businesses. This can include freelancers offering their services to companies through online platforms.

Some other types of e-commerce include Business-to-Government (B2G), Government-to-Business (G2B), Government-to-Consumer (G2C), and Mobile Commerce (m-commerce).
